OP SAINTS
Coach :
Nicolas Hallisey
Captain :
Eugene Hickey
Preferably wing or full back, but has known to pop up in the centres from time to time. Doesn't mind filling in at second row either against pony oppostion.
Players
Bola Femi Adewale
Form is temporary. Class is permanent. Fitness is optional.
Chris Allum
Play hooker/back row.
You'll never see a better sidestep in the front row. Apart from my brother, and matt champs, and maybe Keith Wood.
Ryan Ashlee
naturally a tighthead prop, but can play anywhere in the front row when called upon. Having played rugby at St.Benedict's followed by Captaining the Westminster 1st XV several times over the last eleven years is now keen to make his mark upon the op team.
Daniel Beatrup
Jerome Bradley
Aaron Briggs
I play prop- the pace man of the group really. left in 09 and eager to play wenever possible
John Campbell
Prop, winger
Martin Campbell
Frank Casali
Matt Champness
Hugo Clarke
Utility Back-Row forward. Prefer 2nd row/No8...Often found hanging off rucks/malls trying to look as busy as poss. Otherwise found in the beer garden of Ealing's finest establishments.
William Clarke
i enjoy my rugby just left school play fly half full back mainly but can slot in most back positions.
Tomek Cole
Sean Corcoran
Declan Cronin
I'm Grrrreat!
Michael Dalton
Jack Dever
like most people my age im 20...
also have a strong disliking of Ben Horan and everything that comes with him.
Matthew Dever
still at bennies untill the summer of 10, basically if haven't heard me or my brother am the better brother of the two, 6tf3 back, like matt banhana but can catch and not a fat basterd. all i want to achieve out of rugby is beer and the showers afterwards, whoop whoop!
mike dever
Matthew Doyle
Matthew "Doyley" Doyle left St. Benedict's in 2004.
Rugby highlights included playing for the U11's when only 10, getting colours at U13 (which his mum then sewed onto his shirt!) and handing off Ed Conway in a 7's game.
Since leaving school, then university, then law college, Doyley continues to prove a burden upon his family and has refused to start work properly until 2011. In the meantime he is looking to expand his knowledge of Xbox and is plotting the downfall of his enemies within the club - (via the Dick of the Day jacket.)
James Duggan
1997 Old Boy. Following a prolonged & revitalizing period in the rugby wilderness / pie shop I felt the need to put down that pie & pick up the boots again. I would rather play back row - but unfortunately due to being genetically inflicted with extreme medium pace I will probably end up in the 2nd row.
Danny Farren
Stephen Finnegan
Getting old and fat and would quite fancy a couple of run outs in the back row somewhere
Michael George
Saul Gerald
They created beer so props cant take over ther world
Still at Bennies, finish summer 2010.
Joe Gleeson
Centre, Full back or fly half. Left in 04' after joining the senior school in 97'. They call me the bri man. Used to love pies but now only have eyes for Mrs. Hanke. She's the best part of my healthy new diet.
John Gleeson
Matt Gleeson
Aristide Goualin
Fab Goualin
ridiculously cool
Adam Hanke
Left in 2004, played Back Row and Second Row for the Firsts until my now failed piano career took precedence. Most fond memories must be of the outstanding 2nd Row relationship of Hanke-Doyle where we dominated both on the pitch and on the keys. However, the brittle bones syndrome that I was diagnosed with meant only the latter aspect of this relationship was able to flourish. Fully recovered now, after loads of milk, the source of which you would have to ask Mrs. Gleeson, and ready to play as well as my steadily improving fitness will allow.
Phil Harvey
Very old prop!
SImon Hearn
Left Bennies in 2006 as a 2nd XV player. Utility player when fit, normally there to make up the numbers. Best attribute of my game is the boot, but as a forward its rarely used. Love getting stuck in the rear of a ruck, or putting my hands in places i shouldn't. Aspire to become the George Best of Rugby, spending my money on booze, birds and fast cars, and then wasting the rest.
Philip Hopley
Left in '84 and had a great crack playing OP rugby for a few years. Delighted to see the relaunch and hope to play while I still can.
Ben Horan
An impact player for 80 minutes, Horan is deservedly considered by many OP pundits to be the complete second-row package. Never happier than when dancing the Five-point-fandango over the opposition's line, or securing turnover against impossible odds, Horan can always be found in the thick of the action. Friends and opponents alike are wont to refer to the 6' 5" powerhouse as the "Second Row Sasquatch," the "Mauling Marauder," the "Lineout Leviathan," the "Priorians Punisher," or simply the "Master of Disaster". His legion of female admirers however are more likely to refer to the Ickenham based hard man as the "Line-out Love Machine" or the "Lascivious Lock". Known as much for his off-field antics as his devastating forward play, Ben can always be found at the heart of any changing room banter or shenanigans, and is renowned for his ability to quoff prodigious quantities of throat oil in local hostelries with the chaps on club socials. All-in-all this dashing cavalier of the game is definitely one to watch, and an OP through and through. - E.C.
Tony Horan
Incredibly well-endowed, lightening-fast centre with a razor-sharp wit, easy charm and exceptional bone structure. Usually to be found performing feats of exceptional strength or endurance, or making witty quips, perceptive observations or profound, though-provoking statements.
Laurence Hughes
Marc Hughes
Left Benedicts in 1992.
Play anywhere in backrow

Rob Reeves
Grew up in Harrow playing rugby as a scrum half at Sudbury Court, Ruislip, Ealing and Harrow before moving to the US. Upon returning, i am looking to get back into the game and get back into the swing of things.
Will Rowan
I left Benedict's in 2007 and have just finished my gap year during which i was planning on playing a little rugby but due to a long term injury did not. i have started playing sports again and cant wait to start playing rugby. I will be joining southampton university in about a months time.

Recently finished my career at St Benedict’s playing for the 1st XV and got to the quarter final of the daily mail cup. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself through out my Benedict’s experience and most of that is due to my rugby experience and I would love to carry it on!!
Ranjan Waas
Tom Wade
Going into my last year at Leeds University. Play at 10/Centre.
Luke Wainwright
Joe Wellings
Sam Wellings
Center/Flanker kicks. I distrust camels, and anyone else who can go a week without a drink.
Alex Wightman
Single male seeking female companionship. I’m a very good looking young man who loves to take long walks, beat up ninjas, test the acidity of fox urine and cosy winter nights by the fire. Really like a woman with a pickup truck. A candlelight dinner prepared by none other than Mrs. Gleeson will have me wet with desire whilst she is wearing only what nature gave her. Rub me the right way and watch me respond. An outstanding flanker and taught Neil Back everything he knows.
Andrew Wilkie
front row... dont like running too much
David Wilkie
